To apply, a candidate must be at least 60 years of age and must be medically approved for nursing home care. Appropriate placement will be determined through medical records and a personal interview, as necessary. If a Health Center candidate is transferring from the hospital, an admission decision will be made based on information provided by the hospital and the ability of Augsburg to provide the required health care.
