At Augsburg, members of our Therapeutic Recreation Department work closely with residents to offer a wide range of meaningful activities that encourage choice and independence. Our goal is to maintain or restore an individual's highest level of functionality.

Unique routines, interests, and capabilities are considered as we work to help residents maintain control and independence. Activities are offered in large and small group settings, as well as individualized therapeutic services on a one-on-one basis. Each month, one can participate in day trips and a special themed party or event.  Picnics are held throughout the summer. Room-to-room services include a candy cart and a book cart.
