Nursing Home
Residential Health Care in a Christian
Environment
Augsburg
Lutheran Home has been serving the needs of the elderly since 1892. This
long history and our documented record of excellence in the health care
field makes Augsburg Lutheran Home a wise choice for necessary residential
health care.
Admission Guidelines
Applicants must be medically approved
for nursing home care.
Appropriate placement will be determined through medical records and a personal
interview, as necessary. In the case of hospital transfers, an admission
decision will be made on the basis of information provided by the hospital
and the ability of Augsburg to provide the necessary health care.
The application form is to be completed prior to admission and submitted
to the Admissions Coordinator with a $25 non-refundable application fee.
Exceptions to the guidelines must be approved by the Executive Director
and the Admissions Committee of the Board of Directors.

Intermediate Care
This level of care is available for residents

The nursing staff administers all medications. They also communicate with
physicians on the residents behalf.
Skilled Care
This level of care includes rehabilitative
care (physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy) for stroke
