Village Photo Gallery

Springtime is especially beautiful and residents enjoy being
able to work in their own gardens, right outside their doors.

Village residents now have time to do things they
really like to do, like reading the Bible...

...or playing pool in one of our game rooms...

...or even learning how to surf the Internet.

One of our residents has even set his second bedroom up
as a den and spends a good amount of time on the Internet
keeping up with family and world news.

Residents enjoy exercise and other classes led by
teachers from a local community college.

Gardening is available around the clock just by walking out the
sliding glass door in each first floor apartment. Second floor apartments
all have balconies and many residents grow their plants in pots.

The spacious kitchens (which are frequently left unused
due to the delicious meals available in our dining room)...

...the availability of washers and dryers right in the apartment...

...and the idea that bringing their pet along with them is welcomed
are just some of the amenities that have convinced residents
that Augsburg is for them.

Some enjoy their new found leisure time reading and learning.

Others have found that volunteering in many areas throughout the
community such as joining the quilting group to make quilts for the
disadvantaged, as these ladies are doing, is how they like to
spend some of their time.
