One-Time Entrance Deposit: $17,000-$33,000
(80% refundable when the unit is reassigned)

These are basic rates for care at Level 1. There will be a $370-$740
monthly charge for each additional level of care (2 and 3).

Whom Does Assisted Living Serve? The perfect candidate for Assisted Living is someone who can no longer maintain total independence without some assistance, but who also is not in need of 24-hour nursing care. Augsburg's program is designed to serve three different levels of need—those requiring only occasional assistance (Level 1), those needing more substantial support (Level 2), and those needing support in almost every area of daily life (Level 3).

Resident Level of Care Criteria

Dining	A) Independent. B) Minimum assistance in cutting food and opening containers; however, is tidy and appropriate when eating.	C) Requires intermittent supervision in a group setting; is untidy and inappropriate when eating.	D) Requires assistance in Levels 1 and 2 along with continuous supervision in a group setting.
Dressing	A) Independent. B) Minimum assistance including tying shoes and buttoning clothes.	C) Requires assistance in Level 1 along with cueing, laying out, and choosing appropriate dress.	D) Full dressing required.
Bathing	A) Independent. B) Requires occasional and minimal assistance.	C) Requires supervision during entire bath; however, resident bathes self (shaving).	D) Full bathing required.
Toileting	A) Independent. B) Requires occasional and minimal assistance.	C) Requires assistance getting on/off toilet, occasional reminders, and uses protective undergarments (appliances) with minimal assistance.	D) Requires assistance along with structured toileting; may have occasional incontinence.
Orientation	A) Independent. B) Mild impairment, but is able to plan daily events appropriately.	C) Requires minimal assistance in decision-making with occasional prompting.	D) Requires regular assistance with decision-making; however, responds appropriately throughout the event or activity.
Behavior	A) Displays appropriate behavior in dealing with others and coping with normal stress. B) Requires minimal assistance resolving conflict under stressful situations.	C) Requires occasional assistance and direction in avoiding and/or correcting inappropriate behaviors.	D) Requires regular assistance and direction to behave appropriately at daily events and in interaction with staff and other residents.
